Those people are going to end their lineage, and impulses they act on that their ancestors never did will not be carried on (unless through surrogacy, artifical insemination, etc.). It wasn't until the modern era that these people started making more clear-cut decisions on what they wanted to screw, be it male-to-male or female-to-female, since their preference is largely more accepted instead of ridiculed.
But, consider bisexuality - a large number of people have historically been attracted to both males and females in varying degrees - where avalible, they give preference to one or the other.
